Earth Day Celebration at SRS International School

Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated on April 22, on which events worldwide are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. A special assembly was held in the premises of SRS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL to celebrate this day today. The school left no stone unturned in making this event a grand success.

The mission of this initiative was to provide the students with the tools and training they need to create a “culture of conservation” within their community. Srs’s goal is to conserve and protect natural resources for future generations, and to protect human health through environmental stewardship.

The students were given a free platform to voice their views and opinions about how they can save their planet. Junior students enacted a poem and senior students prepared a skit presenting an awakening display. Managing Director, Mr. Vinay Goyal deserves a special mention here as his efforts paid well today. The students planted saplings in the school backyard to contribute their bit. It was an ecstatic moment for the students as well as the teachers.

Another Star In Srs’s Crown

Its a proud moment for SRS International School to learn that Sarthak Kaushik, a grade V student has won a gold and a silver medal in the National Karate Championship held at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi on  14th April’15. The school hopes that he scales new heights in the future. “I will work harder and try to achieve more milestones like this. Learning karate has made me stronger on the inside as well as on the outside.”, said Sarthak. Wealth, power, fame and the blessings of physical beauty are all relatively unimportant if one does not possess good health. An individual owes it to himself and his family to constantly maintain and improve his health. Regardless of age, self defence always lures people to learn karate. Feeling safe is equivalent to feeling empowered. The school will work in its best capacity to take its students’ talents forward.
